Arcs & Sparks
Ladies and gentlemen, Andy Tebbano:
I grew up in the Saratoga, NY area (upstate) with much of my family still there. I attended Georgia Institute of Technology from 1995-2000 and graduated with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation I worked for a Telecom test equipment company for about a year and had the unfortunate experience of being laid off due to a failing Telecom industry at the time. I started working for NAVAIR in January of 2002 for the Maritime and Rotary Wing weapon systems integration competency. I worked specifically on H-60 and P-3 Anti-Submarine Test & Evaluation projects. In July 2007 I gravitated to mission systems integration with specific focus on data link systems. I am currently the Link-16 Data Link engineer for EA-6B and F/A-18 at VX-23. In August 2007 I graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a Masters Degree in Business Administration. In September 2008 I started a Masters degree program in Systems Engineering through the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. Mr. Staub's proposed modifications to the X-Prize vehicle piqued my interest and I have been supplying occasional brain power in developing engineering solutions to some of the hurdles the team has faced.
